He knew Lazarus would live again.
He knew the tomb would open.
He knew death would not have the final word.
And still, standing beside Mary and Martha, surrounded by grief, Jesus wept.
He did not rush past their sorrow just because He knew the outcome.
He entered into it.
“Jesus wept.” — John 11:35
The shortest verse in Scripture reveals something profound:
The One who has power over death is not distant from our pain.
He stands in it with us — and He is still Lord over the grave.
